Amelia has been involved in swimming since a youngster; learning to swim, moving to competitive swimming and now as an adult enjoying open water swimming. Amelia has two lovely daughters, is a keen gardener and is passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge.
Amelia is excited to be a part of the Dolphin Academy Swim School, ensuring the very best swim instruction and teaching water confidence while having fun.
Casey

Casey has been a swimming instructor for a year and absolutely loved being in the pool teaching kids. She is a Mum of two boys aged eight and six. Casey enjoys doing hill walks, fishing, swimming and generally any sport. She has played and coached many sports over the years.
Casey is looking forward to getting back into the pool and meeting all the children.
Paula
Swim Instructor
Paula has many years swim teaching, coaching and SNZ technical official experience and as a mum has supported 2 (now university age) children both of whom swam competitively at national level and were surf life savers.
Paula also enjoys swimming, biking and practicing yoga and is excited to be with the Dolphin Academy teaching young learner swimmers.
Nelly
Swim Instructor
Nelly’s passion for the water started on a Scottish Island surrounded by the ocean where she learnt to swim. Then at the age 7 she moved to central France. Nelly started competitively swimming from aged 8 and went on to compete at French Nationals at age 16.
At the age of 17 she moved to NZ. She was the head coach for the Raglan Swim Club and was a volunteer member of coastguard, so teaching kids and water safety is something she holds very close to her heart. She is very excited about being part of the Dolphin Academy.
Kate
Swim Instructor
Kate has been a top competitive swimmer for 9 years in both pool and open water. She loves spending time in the water and spending time with friends.
Kate is studying to be a Primary School Teacher and is looking forward to sharing her love and passion for the water.
Valeria
Swim Instructor
Valeria has a huge passion for fitness and the water. She is a mum to a 15 yr old boy, participates in events like triathlons and half marathons and loves being in the water. She has a Degree in Recreation and Sport and is studying through Massey Uni to become a Primary School Teacher.
She is looking forward to helping children become more comfortable in the water and helping them learn and develop in this area.
